André Ricard, a pioneering professional and champion of industrial design in Spain, has made a decisive contribution to the social and business development of this discipline. He has been the president of the ADI-FAD (FAD Design Group), the Fouding President ot the ADP (Association of Professional Designers), Vice-president of ICSID (International Design Council), Vice-president of the BCD (Barcelona Design Center and Member of the Faculty of the Art Center (Vevey, Switzerland). He also has been the head of the Product Design Department of the Eina School of Design and Patron of the Eina Foundation, and the President of Design for the World (design NGO).
